I am a fresh PhD (IR and NLP) from the Glasgow Information Retrieval Group at the University of Glasgow. I completed my PhD under the supervision of Professor Iadh Ounis and Dr. Graham McDonald. My research is focused on augmenting information retrieval and natural language processing methods to identify hidden connections and patterns between documents in large collections to assist with tasks such as human sensitivity review, text classification, information threading and document recommendation.
I also have professional work experience in Data Engineering and Full-Stack Development for over 11 years. Through these years, I have led and contributed to various projects across Finance and Healthcare domains.
I am currently seeking career opportunities for an applied scientist role to develop innovative solutions and solve real-world problems.
